ncRNA-mediated inhibition of HECTD1 causes more severe cytotoxicity in HEK293T cells. (a) Inhibition of HECTD1 by specific siRNA mixture increased significantly the lethality of cells transfected with the polyQ-expanded ATXN1 (ATXN182Q) vector as compared to wild-type ATXN1. (b) Inhibition of HECTD1 by miR-E1108 increased significantly the lethality of cells transfected with the polyQ-expanded ATXN1. Data are shown as mean values for clarity.
