Preparation of Rhodamine B Fluorescent Poly(methacrylic acid) Coated Gelatin Nanoparticles

Schematic illustration of preparation for the FPMAAG nanoparticles. Rhodamine B was mixed with gelatin to form gelatin nanoparticles by coacervation and cross-liking. Methylacrylic acid was also mixed before the cross-liking. Next, the temperature of this system was raised to initiate the polymerization. The PMAA combined into the gelatin matrix and formed a coating on the surface of gelatin nanoparticles.
