AFM ((a), (b)) and TEM ((c), (d)) images of PS-MA-BEE//QDs ((a), (c)) and PMAO//QDs ((b), (d)) bilayer LB films. The inset shows a magnification of a PMAO topographic AFM image. The PS-MA-BEE and PMAO Langmuir monolayers were transferred at the surface pressure of 14 and 30 mN m−1, respectively, and QDs at 9 mN m−1.
