Fabrication and Permeability Characteristics of Microdialysis Probe Using Chitosan Nanoporous Membrane

Schematic experimental setup for permeation study of nanoporous chitosan membrane. The chitosan membrane was clamped between two half-cells, feed cell and receiver cell. The model biomolecules with specific molecular weight and concentration were added to feed cell and the receiver cell was filled with buffer solution. After beginning of diffusion, the concentration of model biomolecules solution taken from receiver cell was measured.
