Inhibition of oral biofilm formation by gold nanorods using fluorescence microscopy. As growing control were used microorganisms growing in culture media without inhibitor and 1200 g/mL of chlorhexidine was employed as positive inhibition control. AuNRs were used at a final concentration of 150 μg/mL. All experiments were done in triplicate to assess the veracity of results.
