Inorganic Semiconductor Nanocrystals with Controlled Properties: Synthesis, Processing, and Applications

Call for Papers

Inorganic semiconductor nanocrystals represent a series of the most important material that has wide applications in photocatalysis, optoelectronics, solar energy conversion, and so forth. To fulfill the demands for applications, semiconductor nanocrystals with desired electronic and optical properties are prerequisite. This has aroused lots of research on controlling the properties of semiconductor nanocrystals mainly through the controllable synthesis and surface engineering by taking advantage of the distinct size-/shape-/surface-dependent properties of nanocrystals. This special issue will focus on the synthesis and applications of inorganic semiconductor nanocrystals with property controlling.

We invite authors to submit original research and review articles related to inorganic semiconductor nanocrystals, including synthesis methods, characterizations, surface engineering, and further applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Controllable synthesis and characterization
  • Crystal growth mechanism
  • Surface engineering
  • Properties and applications

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/jnm/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
