Low-Dimensional Inorganic Nanofunctional Materials: Design, Assembly, and Application for Chemical Engineering (I)

Description

Synthesis of low-dimensional inorganic nanofunctional material is an increasingly important subject for chemical engineering researchers owing to their intriguing properties and wide applications in many chemical engineering fields such as ceramics, catalyst, and composite. Great progress has achieved in both theoretical and technical aspects for low-dimensional inorganic nanofunctional materials with desired composition, morphology, structure, and even facets. Thus, fabricating the low-dimensional inorganic nanofunctional materials, revealing the size-, shape-, composition-, and surface-dependent properties, and uncovering the potential applications in chemical engineering fields have turned to be an urgent and booming issue. We cordially invite authors to submit their original research or review manuscripts concerning the development of new theories and technologies for the synthesis, characterization, and application of low-dimensional inorganic nanofunctional materials, especially those with potential applications in chemical engineering fields. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and assembly of low-dimensional inorganic nanofunctional materials
  • Characterization of size-, shape-, composition-, and surface-dependent properties
  • Growth mechanisms/function control of low-dimensional inorganic nanofunctional materials
  • Design and scale up of low-dimensional inorganic nano-functional materials for chemical engineering
  • Transfer of heat, mass, and momentum for scale up of low-dimensional inorganic nanofunctional materials

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/jnm/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/jnm/ldin/ according to the following timetable:
