Effect of maternal protein restriction on the cardiac recovery of male and female rat hearts during ischemia reperfusion. Measures of cardiac function include left ventricular pressure (LVP), the left ventricular first derivative , and heart rate (HR). These parameters were determined at baseline and during 60 min reperfusion following 30 min ischemia. Data are displayed as mean ± SEM values. Recovery 1 and 2 denote 0–30 and 31–60 min reperfusion periods, respectively.
