E-cadherin and the Cytoplasmic Cell adhesion Complex. E-cadherin is stabilised at the cell surface by its link to the actin cytoskeleton via β-catenin, α-catenin, and, possibly, Epithelial Protein Lost in Neoplasm (EPLIN). p120ctn stabilises the CCC by preventing clathrin-mediated endocytosis.
