ENLE-treated MCF-7 (a) and HeLa (b) cells at their respective EC50 doses (48 h and 72 h for MCF-7 cells and, 24 and 48 h for HeLa cells) show a significant decrease in the expression of cyclin D1, CYP 1A1, and CYP 1A2 but a significant upregulation in the expression of bax in a time-dependent manner compared to untreated cells. β-Actin was used as an internal control. Lanes 1–4 represent untreated cells, cells treated with ENLE at their particular time of treatments, and negative control for RT-PCR, respectively.
