Schematic structure of human (Hu) and zebrafish (ZF) DICER1 proteins. Both human and zebrafish DICER1 have similar functional domains: N-terminal helicase domains (DEXDc and HELICc), Dicer dimerization domain (DUF283), PAZ domain, two ribonuclease III C terminal domains, and the double-stranded RNA binding motif (DSRM).
