Retinal Neurodegeneration in db/db Mice at the Early Period of Diabetes

<div>TUNEL assay showed the positive apoptotic RGCs in retina of db/db mice at 20, 24, and 28 weeks of age compared with the controls at 28 weeks. The green fluorescence represented the apoptotic cells in RGCs layer and the inner nuclear layer which were noted by the arrows.</div>
