Retinal thicknesses in db/db mice and littermates were shown as mean ± SE, in each group, and one eye was selected at random in each mouse and only that eye was included in the analysis; unpaired student’s -test was used to analyze the thickness data. Wilcoxon rank sum test was used in the analysis of nasal-outer thickness due to the sample skewed distribution. The central fovea thickness was not included in the whole thickness of global retina. * < 0.05. ** < 0.01.
