Physicochemical properties of hydrophobic (unmodified) QD-loaded SA liposomes. The lipid composition was DSPC : SA : Chol (= 8 : 0.2 : 1). All photographs were captured by placing the samples under a UV lamp. (F) TEM image of QD-loaded liposomes. The scale bar is 100 nm. (G) The fluorescence spectrum of QD-loaded liposomes was measured in phosphate buffer. Excitation was performed at 480 nm.
