Phenotype of T cells and co-stimulatory molecules expression on T lymphocytes of CL patients (𝑛=17) stimulated in vitro with SLA in the presence or absence of S. mansoni antigens rSm29, rSmTSP-2 or with a fraction of S. mansoni soluble adult worm antigen (SWAP) PIII. Frequency of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells (A), expression of CD28 and CTLA-4 in CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells (B and C, resp.) and the frequency of CD4⁺CD25^highFoxp3⁺ T cells (𝑛=13) (D).
