STIM activates SOC and inhibits VDCC: STIM not only interacts with SOC, but recent data show its ability to interact with VDCC in various cell types such as neurons skeletal muscles, and smooth muscle cells. STIM binds to VDCC to inhibit and internalizes VDCC [39ā€“41].
