Differential Cytotoxicity Responses by Dog and Rat Hepatocytes to Phospholipogenic Treatments

Cell survival IC50 (half maximal inhibitory concentration) values of dog and rat hepatocytes treated with phospholipogenic or nonphospholipogenic compounds. Cells were fixed with formaldehyde/Hoescht, and survival was quantified using the Cellomics Arrayscan instrument (see Materials and Methods). Isolates were obtained on different days. The data are represented as individual experiments only ( = 1 or 2) or as an average of 3 individual (separate isolates, = 3) experiments ± SD.
