Differential Cytotoxicity Responses by Dog and Rat Hepatocytes to Phospholipogenic Treatments

Cell survival IC₅₀ (half maximal inhibitory concentration) values of dog and rat hepatocytes treated with phospholipogenic or nonphospholipogenic compounds. Cells were fixed with formaldehyde/Hoescht, and survival was quantified using the Cellomics Arrayscan instrument (see Materials and Methods). Isolates were obtained on different days. The data are represented as individual experiments only (𝑁 = 1 or 2) or as an average of 3 individual (separate isolates, 𝑁 = 3) experiments ± SD.
