Protein array analysis of culture medium from HMVEC exposed to IL-1. Culture medium was replaced by DMEM plus 10% FBS and 10 U/mL of human recombinant IL-1, and collected after 48 hours. Controls were performed with DMEM plus 10% FBS and 10 U/mL of human recombinant IL-1. The proteins that were analyzed are indicated in the bottom panel of Figure 4. Densitometric evaluation of samples is also shown (right panel). Values were calculated as the difference between the density value of samples and controls.
