Effect of BAY on the activation of upstream signaling for NF-κB translocation. (a to c) RAW264.7 cells (a left panel, b, and c) or peritoneal macrophages (a right panel) (  cells/mL) were incubated with BAY (15 μM) in the presence or absence of LPS (1 μg/mL) for indicated times. After preparing whole lysates, levels of phospho (p)- or total proteins of IκBα, IKKα/β, Akt, p85/PI3K, Syk, and Src were identified by immunoprecipitation. Relative intensity (a right panel) was calculated by densitometric scanning.
