Knockdown of LXRα abolishes the protein expression of ABCA1 and ABCG1 and attenuates lipid accumulation by TRPV1 agonists. BMDMs were preincubated with control siRNA (50 nmol/L) or LXRα siRNA (50 nmol/L) for 24 h, followed by evodiamine or capsaicin treatment for additional 24 h.
