Accumulation of different leukocyte subtypes induced by eotaxin: effect of specific antibody neutralization. Eotaxin was preincubated with specific neutralizing monoclonal antibody (hatched bar), or with irrelevant isotype-matched monoclonal antibody (open bar), before i.p. injection in BALB/c mice. Controls (black bar) received eotaxin but no antibody. Peritoneal lavage fluid, collected 4 h later, was used for total leukocyte quantitation.
