FICZ and ITE inhibit Th1 and Th17 cell polarization by CD4⁺T cells from BD patients and normal controls. Purified CD4⁺T cells from active BD patients (𝑛=7) and normal controls (𝑛=7) were stimulated with anti-CD3/CD28 and rIL-23 in the presence or absence of FICZ (100 nmol/L) or ITE (100 nmol/L) for 6 days. The cells were collected and analyzed for intracellular expression of IFN-γ and IL-17 by flow cytometry. (a) Dot plots of a representative subject for each group are shown.
