Nucleotides induce CCL2 secretion from THP-1 cells after 2-hour stimulation. THP-1 cells were plated in RPMI media containing 1% serum and stimulated with media alone, LPS (1 μg/mL), UTP (10 μM), UTPγS (250 nM and 1 μM), 2-thio-UTP (50 nM and 1 μM), ATP (10 μM), UDP (10 μM), or ADP (10 μM) for 2 hours.
