Hypoxia stimulated TLR mRNA expression in submerged primary conjunctival epithelial cells. Cells were cultured in 95% N2 and 5% CO2 at 37°C for indicated duration before being harvested for RNA extraction and qPCR. The experiment was repeated in 3 different batches of primary cells, and the averaged changes were shown. error bars represent the standard deviation of the averaged results. Asterisks () denote significant difference when compared to cells under normoxia condition.
