Effect of administration of naked IL-12 DNA on tumor growth. The potential therapeutic effect of naked DNA/IL-12 was evaluated in an experimental tumor model. Each group of mice () was challenged subcutaneously with 5 × 105 BMK-16/myc cells. When the tumor reached 20–30 mm3 in size, in the tumor sites were injected three-times (every six days) with 50 μg pNGVL3-mIL-12 (asterisks), pcDNA3 plasmid (triangle), PBS (square), or no treatment as control (diamond).
