RGFS-A modifies serum levels of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines in CIA mice. CIA mice were treated with the indicated doses of RGSF-A, MTX, or vehicle. Blood was drawn by cardiac puncture from CIA mice at the end of the experiment and serum cytokine levels were measured by ELISA using protocols supplied by the manufacturer. Arthritis-induced IL-1β (a), TNF-α (b), IL-6 (c), INF-γ (d), and IL-10 (e) levels in the serum of CIA mice were analyzed. ^∗𝑃<0.05, ^∗∗𝑃<0.01, and ^∗∗∗𝑃<0.001 versus vehicle control; 𝑛=6 for each group.
