C57BL/6 and A/J Mice Have Different Inflammatory Response and Liver Lipid Profile in Experimental Alcoholic Liver Disease

Body weight gain and development of hepatomegaly in B6 and A/J mice fed high fat diets containing ethanol. Before and after 10 weeks of treatment, B6 (a) and A/J (b) mice were weighed and the differences between initial and final weight were expressed in grams (g). Hepatomegaly was evaluated considering the liver weight/body weight ratio in B6 (c) and A/J (d) mice. Results from both B6 and A/J mice () were evaluated by ANOVA one-way and Tukey as a posttest.
