Effect of BMSCs on the barrier permeability of HUVECs. HUVECs were stimulated by LPS at a dosage of 100 ng/mL (black bars). In addition, HUVECs were cocultured with indicated concentrations of BMSCs: low (1 × 10³ cells/mL, dark grey bars), median (1 × 10⁴ cells/mL, light grey bars), and high (1 × 10⁵ cells/mL, white bars) for 1, 3, 6, 12, and 24 h followed by measuring permeability as described in Section 2.
