LPS induces the low levels of IL-12 in murine peritoneal macrophages. (a) Murine peritoneal macrophages were treated with or without 100 ng/mL LPS for 24 h. Supernatant levels of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-10, IL-12 p40, and IL-12 p70 were detected by ELISA. (b, c) Peritoneal macrophages were treated with LPS (0, 10, 100, and 1000 ng/mL) for 24 h (b) or with 100 ng/mL LPS for 3, 6, 12, and 24 h (c). Supernatant levels of TNF-α and IL-12 p40/p70 were detected by ELISA ().
