Bigelovii A Protects against Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Acute Lung Injury by Blocking NF-κB and CCAAT/Enhancer-Binding Protein δ Pathways

Effect of Bigelovii A on cytokine and chemokine secretion during LPS-induced inflammation in MH-S cells. MH-S cells were pretreated with the indicated dose of Bigelovii A for 1 h, followed by treatment with PBS or 100 ng/mL of LPS for 6 h. Then cell-free supernatants were harvested, and ELISA was conducted to measure production of IL-6 (a), MCP-1 (b), MIP-1α (c), and MIP-2 (d). Results are reflected by means ± SEM ().
