Bigelovii A Protects against Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Acute Lung Injury by Blocking NF-κB and CCAAT/Enhancer-Binding Protein δ Pathways

Effect of Bigelovii A on cytokine and chemokine expressions during LPS-induced inflammation in human-derived monocytes. THP-1 cells were pretreated with the indicated dose of Bigelovii A for 1 h, followed by treatment with PBS or 100 ng/mL of LPS for 2 h. mRNAs were then extracted. Real time PCR was conducted to measure the mRNA levels of IL-6 (a) and IL-8 (b). Results are reflected by means ± SEM ().
