HAWT	(i) Higher wind energy conversion efficiency
	(ii) Access to stronger wind due to high tower
VAWT	(i) Lower installation cost and easier maintenance due to the ground level gearbox and generator
	(ii) Operation independent of wind direction
	Disadvantages
HAWT	(i) Higher installation cost, stronger tower to support heavy weight of nacelle
	(ii) The orientation is required
VAWT	(i) Lower wind energy conversion efficiency
	(ii) Higher torque fluctuations and prone to mechanical vibrations
