Fuzzy Computing and Intelligent Transportation 2014
Description
Applying fuzzy computing technologies to intelligent transportation is becoming more and more important in modern society. Transportation systems are a hot research topic today with the increased volume of traffic on public roads and elsewhere, and fuzzy computing has found applications in many areas of engineering, including transportation, for several decades. This special issue focuses on fuzzy computing and intelligent transportation that will be featuring scientists who will further explore this topic that is so significant in these fields. This special issue will cover a wide range of topics from the theories to the practice methods and technology; papers can be theoretical, practical, and application oriented. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Fuzzy set theory in transportation
- Intelligent computing and systems and its application in transportation
- Intelligent transportation systems
- Public travel security
- Operational intelligence
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/mpe/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/mpe/fcit14/ according to the following timetable:
