Data from unit ch2_17 followed over three sessions demonstrating the firing rate tuning over that time period with no feedback (day 1549), unit feedback (day 1553), and feedback of volume directly related to unit firing frequency (day 1556). Data for tone C5 @ 523 hz is illustrated in the upper panel. Similar data from days 1549, 1553, and 1556 for tone C4 @ 262 hz are illustrated in the lower panel. These changes paralleled the appearance of the lower beta band peaks illustrated in Figure 4.
