Wnt1 Promotes EAAT2 Expression and Mediates the Protective Effects of Astrocytes on Dopaminergic Cells in Parkinson’s Disease

<div>Coculturing with U251-Wnt1 cells attenuated 6-OHDA-induced injury in SH-SY5Y cells. SH-SY5Y cells were indirectly cocultured with U251-Wnt1 cells or U251-EV cells, with SH-SY5Y cells cultured alone as the control, and then treated with 50 <i>μ</i>M 6-OHDA for 24 h; cell viability was assessed using the MTT assay.
