Carbon Monoxide Attenuates Dextran Sulfate Sodium-Induced Colitis via Inhibition of GSK-3β Signaling

CO attenuates DSS-induced experimental colitis as measured by survival, body weight, and colon length. Mice were administrated with 3% DSS with drinking water for 6 days and CO (250 ppm) inhalation for 4 h daily and injection of LiCl (200 mg/kg, i.p) was performed daily for more 4 or 6 days.
