Effect of Withania coagulans on kidney levels of (a) IL-1β, (b) IL-6, and (c) TNF-α. Diabetic controls showed significantly elevated kidney IL-1β (a), IL-6 (b), and TNF-α (c) cytokines levels, compared to nondiabetic controls. Withania coagulans treatment significantly decreased the IL-1β (a), IL-6 (b), and TNF-α (c) compared to diabetic controls.
