Decavanadate Toxicology and Pharmacological Activities: V10 or V1, Both or None?

Mitochondria: a target for decavanadate (V10). Oxygen consumption and membrane depolarization are strongly affected whereas no effects were found for MTP and ATP synthase. To our knowledge, V10 effects on Ca2+ uniporter and Na+/Ca2+ exchanger were not yet described.
