Correlation between Mitochondrial Reactive Oxygen and Severity of Atherosclerosis

<div>Representative curve of oxidation susceptibility of plasma VLDL obtained from LDL receptor knockout (LDLr<sup>−/−</sup>) and wild type mice. The VLDL oxidation was induced by incubation with CuSO<sub>4</sub> (40 <i>μ</i>M). Formation of conjugated dienes was followed by absorbance changes at 234 nm along time.
