The data are mean ± S.D. and significantly different at and by the unpaired Student's t-test. TC: total cholesterol, TG: triglyceride, GLU: plasma glucose, HDL-C: high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, LDL-C: low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. The high cholesterol control group, 200 μL PBS (pH 7.4) was served instead of allicin as a negative control.
