Protection of IP6 (30 μmol/L) against 6-OHDA-induced apoptosis in vitro cell culture model. Cell apoptosis was measured as caspase-3 activity (FU/mg protein, (a) from two separate experiments) and DNA fragmentation (AU/mg protein, (b) from one experiment) and Hoechst nuclear staining (c). ANOVA with Tukey's Multiple Comparison test was used to detect the differences among the treatments in (a) and (b), and means with different letters were significantly different ().
