Mean latencies to cross the beam (±SEM) before and after Mn-inhalation and after L-DOPA treatment. Note that after 2, 4, 6, and 8 Mn-inhalations the mice significantly decrease the duration to cross the beam, and afterwards showed a significant increase in duration to transverse the beam compared to controls. However, when the mice received the L-DOPA treatment the time was reduced drastically resembling the values of the control group ( versus control group; between L-DOPA treatment group versus Mn exposed group).
