Alprazolam reduces stride velocity variability while walking in an anxiety-inducing virtual environment. There was a significant main effect of condition () and a condition × medication interaction (). A paired samples t-test between HA-plank conditions showed significant reduction of stride velocity variability on alprazolam compared to placebo (t = −2.39, ).
