PRIC295, a Nuclear Receptor Coactivator, Identified from PPAR 𝛼 -Interacting Cofactor Complex

PRIC295 functions as a coactivator protein in Gal4-binding assay. Transfection of chimeric Gal4-DBD-PRIC295-F1(E) or Gal4-DBD-PRIC295-F2(F) significantly enhanced transcription of the luciferase reporter gene. Transfection of chimeric Gal4-DBD-PRIC295-F3 did not significantly enhance the transcription of the luciferase reporter (F3; not illustrated). HeLa cells were transfected with 100 ng of pM-Δ (F1) (a), pM-Δ (F2) (b), Gal4-TK-Luc and 50 ng of CMV-RL as indicated (+ or ).
