Rhein improves lipid profiles and glucose tolerance test in high-fat diet-induced obese C57BL/6 mice. (a) TC, TG, HDH-c, and LDL-c contents. (b) Fasting blood glucose levels (0 min) and glucose tolerance test (GTT). The mice were fasted for 12 hours before measuring blood glucose levels as 0 min.
