Antennation and aggressive behaviour (□: median, boxes: 25–75 percentiles, whiskers: min.–max.) by Lasius fuliginosus ants in a laboratory experiment towards a filter paper ball treated with mixtures of substances (1 mg/mL and 10 mg/mL), which are present in the tergal gland secretion of Zyras collaris and Z. haworthi rove beetles. Bars with different lower case letters are significantly different at 𝑃≤0.05 (Mann-Whitney 𝑈-test; control: 𝑁=40; mixtures: 𝑁=20).
