Amplification of CD34⁺ FL cells during erythroid differentiation. CD34⁺ hematopoietic stem cells from fetal liver (FL) were grown in liquid culture according to the three-step protocol described in Section 2, and total cells were counted at the indicated times. Mean values with the standard deviation for three experiments are shown, and the results are compared to those for amplification of cells from cord blood (CB) and bone marrow (BM).
