Effect of recombinant protein Jagged1 on osteoblast differentiation of BMSCs. We cultured BMSCs on immobilized soluble Jagged1 ligand in osteogenic induction medium for 3 days or 14 days, with Ig G-Fc as the control. (a-b) The mRNA and protein expression levels of osteogenic differentiation markers OPN and OCN, and Notch1 and Hes1 were analyzed using real-time RT-PCR and western blot analysis after 3-day ( versus BMSCs2 cultured alone). (c) ALP levels were detected using an ALP kit ( versus BMSCs2 cultured alone). (d) Calcium deposits were detected using von Kossa staining.
