FACS isolation of CD24+ cells from E15 mouse kidney. Single-cell suspensions were prepared from E15 Hoxb7-GFP mouse kidneys and analyzed for expression of CD24 and Hoxb7-GFP by fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). (a) CD24+ cells represent about 76% of cells in the E15 mouse kidney. (b) 14% of CD24+ cells coexpress the Hoxb7-GFP ureteric bud marker.
