Continuous field slosh test computed by the MC3D code in 2D with a VOF-PLIC approach (the 3D effect is a result of image processing). Each image compares the code visualisation (on the right) with the experiments [9] using water (on the left): (1) initial state of a water cylinder immersed in a shallow basin of water; (2) first maximum at the wall, (3) maximum at the centre after two sloshing movements.
